My watercolour journey began just six years ago and has quickly grown into both a passion and a powerful means of expression and sharing. Born and raised in Thunder Bay, I’ve been immersed in the rugged beauty of Lake Superior and Northwestern Ontario—a landscape that has deeply shaped my artistic vision and continues to inspire me.
I am an Associate Member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour (CSPWC), where I serve on the Education Committee, and I’m a member of the local Northern Lights Painting Group. I have a passion for painting Lake Superior and I also love to capture “life moments”—those fleeting, human experiences that resonate universally. One of my notable works, Estonia Remembered, was selected for the Louisiana Watercolor Society’s 54th Annual Juried Exhibition as well as acceptance in DefSup’s Elucidate Regional Juried Show.
In my artistic process, I aim to evoke emotion and reflection through the use of colour, texture, and creative composition. Each brushstroke is an exploration—of natural beauty and of stories. Through my work, I try to capture something personal while also speaking to the shared experiences of the human condition, inviting others to connect with it's emotion. Painting allows me to honour both the landscapes and the moments that shape us, and I look forward to where this creative journey will continue to lead.
